Description
The most beautiful flowers in the world are at the tip of South Africa Cape Town is an extraordinary ecosystem and one of the planet’s richest in biodiversity.
The name of our Canga Towel with African colors led us to immerse ourselves in a trip in the world of the flowers of this family, of the Potrea, King Protea, the most exuberant of all. Its flower, with pink petals, can reach 30 cm in diameter and remain open for weeks. King Protea is the king of the Proteaceae family, which comprises 115 subjects (61% are South Africans) and is revered as a national flower. The plant resembles a red artichoke, appearance that suggested the name for the species – cyranoides – that is, “as an artichoke”. Contrasting with the thick, dark green leaves, each species unbuttons a different jewel. The stamens of bright colors – red, orange or yellow – open up as if wanting to reveal the magic of nature.
