Description
One day, having stopped to rest by the lake, he saw on the surface the image of the beloved goddess: the moon reflected in its waters. Blinded by her dream, she threw herself to the bottom and drowned. The moon, compassionate, wanted to reward the sacrifice of the beautiful young Indian, and decided to make her a star unlike any that shines in the sky. He transformed it into a unique and perfect “Star of the Waters,” which is the victory-regia plant. Thus was born a beautiful plant whose fragrant and white flowers only open at night, and at dawn they turn pink.
